Jawline Softening
Less definition along the lower face or a jawline that feels less crisp than before.
Aesthetic Concern
When the concern is less about a single line and more about firmness, shape, jawline definition, or changing facial support, several different treatment paths may be worth considering.

What You May Be Noticing
“Lifting” and “contouring” can mean different things from one patient to another. The goal is to identify what is actually contributing to the change before selecting a treatment.
Less definition along the lower face or a jawline that feels less crisp than before.
Reduced firmness or skin that appears looser around the face or neck.
Changes in tissue support that can make the lower face feel heavier or less defined.
Softening, laxity, or changes in skin quality below the jawline.
Changes in cheek, chin, or facial proportions that affect overall balance.
Loss of support in selected areas that may contribute to a less lifted appearance.
What Dr. Challa Evaluates
A treatment makes more sense when the reason for the change is clear. Physician assessment looks at skin quality, structural support, facial proportions, prior treatments, and the degree of change you actually want.
Treatment planning is physician-led and supported by LifeViz® 3D imaging. The imaging supports visualization and comparison; it does not replace the medical assessment.
How much of the concern comes from reduced skin support or collagen-related change.
How the jawline, cheeks, chin, and surrounding features relate to one another.
Whether subtle volume changes are contributing to a heavier or less defined appearance.
Texture, thickness, sun-related change, and overall condition of the skin.
How much change you want, what you have tried before, and how much recovery time fits your plans.
Treatment Pricing
Pricing depends on the service, visit needs, and your individualized plan. Your provider will review final pricing during your consultation.
Pre-Treatment & Post-Treatment Care
Instructions vary by treatment and patient. Your Lenox provider will explain the appropriate pre- and post-treatment care for your plan.
Several technologies may address the same concern. Your goals, anatomy, skin characteristics, medical history, and physician assessment help determine which approach — or combination — makes sense for you.

There is no single answer for every patient. The appropriate option depends on whether the concern is primarily skin laxity, facial support, contour, tissue position, or a combination of factors.
They use different technologies and may be considered for different aspects of a lifting or tightening goal. Your physician determines whether radiofrequency, laser treatment, another approach, or a combination is more appropriate.
PDO threads may be discussed for selected patients when a minimally invasive lifting approach fits the anatomy, goals, and treatment plan. They are not appropriate for everyone.
In selected patients, strategically placed filler may support proportion or contour rather than simply adding volume. The amount and location are individualized.
Sometimes. Different treatments act in different ways, so a physician may discuss a staged or combination plan when more than one component of the concern needs to be addressed.
If lifting or contouring is what brought you here, the next step is understanding what is creating the change and which options are appropriate to consider.
